Scheduled Dry Run reports

Generate daily or weekly HTML previews without changing files.

Scheduled Dry Run creates a recurring preview of enabled rules. It never applies the plan.

Configure a schedule

Open Settings → Features → Scheduled Dry Run, then choose:

• daily or weekly frequency;
• weekday when weekly is selected;
• run hour;
• completion notification;
• the folder where HTML reports are stored.

You can also run the schedule immediately to test the configuration.

Read the report

Each report contains the current proposed plans and a comparison with the previous report: added, removed, and changed outcomes. The first generated HTML report opens automatically in your default browser. Later reports remain in the chosen folder for manual review.

Hoolo keeps up to 30 reports by default. When the limit is exceeded, older generated reports are removed from the report folder.

Menu bar notification

After a scheduled run, the menu bar panel shows a report notice above Check for Updates. Clicking it opens the newest report and dismisses the notice. If several runs complete before you click, the notice always points to the latest report.

Scheduled reports are local HTML files. The current feature does not email reports.
